Social Action is a central component of Congregation M’kor Hayim. We have at least one project each month, some that are hands-on, others that involve donations such as clothing or used electronics, and some that are supported by financial contributions. Here are several recent projects:

Tucson Interfaith HIV-Aids Network’s POZ Cafe

Gift bags for TIHAN clients

Thanksgiving meals for Homer David elementary school

Bryan packs lunches for Casa Maria clients

Casa Alitas blankets
Bryan writes: “Being in an interfaith marriage, both my husband and I were warmly welcomed into the M’kor Hayim family. Our programming is as diverse as our congregation. In particular I enjoy our social action projects that benefit the greater Tucson community.”

Clothing drive

Food for refugee shelter
